Orange Wine

 

Despite the name, orange wine is not made with oranges but with grapes and is a revival of ancient wine making. Whereas the normal process for white wine making involves crushing the grapes and quickly removing the skins, orange wine is made with the skins. The process involves using white grapes and using the same fermentation process as red wine. This gives it its distinctive orange colour with extra tannins, texture and weight.

Historically Japanese beers were bitter and didn’t pair well with food. Asahi recognised this wasn’t what their consumers demanded and in 1987 Asahi Super Dry was born. They brewed a beer to deliver a dry, crisp taste and quick, clean finish.

Corona offers a smooth, refreshing taste with well-rounded character and a pleasant malt and hop aroma. 

 

Estrella Damm Daura Gluten Free 5.4% £4.80

Daura is a golden colour with shades of amber and slight hints of green. It is clean and sparkling. The head is cream-coloured and long lasting. The abundant bubbles are delicate and lively. The generous aroma is of fresh spices. The mouthfeel is smooth, thanks to the fine bubbles.
